Every Binley's Database is supplied under a licence agreement. This is a signed contract which sets out how and for what period of time you can use the data within a Binley's Database.
The licence is typically set for a period of 6 months or 1 year, but we can licence users for 1,2 or 3 mailings for example.
In order to ensure you are kept informed as to the progress of your licence agreement, we will contact you approximately 8 weeks before your licence is due to expire.
Customers are advised that using the data outside of an agreed licence agreement can lead to prosecution.
When will I receive my invoice?
All invoices are sent out separately via our accounts office and should arrive a few days after receiving your goods.
How do you ensure that the information supplied is processed correctly?
Accurate information is the lifeblood of Binley's. Once the reverified and updated information for a particular directory/database has been gathered, the keen eyes and fingertips of our Data Capture department set to work. This team of dedicated professionals proofs all the information before and during data entry.
A stringent data verification programme is then instigated by our Data Services department. At this stage, a final proof of each entry is made to ensure each part of an organisation's information is accurate to the best of our knowledge and that no key information has been omitted.
If I give you my organisation's details, will I receive mail which is not relevant to me?
We obtain information directly from the organisations that appear within our entire product range.
Any details that appear within our directories and online modules cannot be used for mailing purposes.
However, information is licensed to commercial companies in the form of tailor-made databases and mail addresses. These commercial organisations only hope to mail contacts with a potential interest in a specific product.
It is in the interest of our clients to target their audience effectively and not to bombard the wrong people with what might be seen as 'junk mail'. In fact, it can be argued that 'junk mail' is often mail which has been sent to the wrong person i.e. someone with no interest in a product.
When our clients are seeking to licence a database, we hope to ensure that they are best advised which contacts would be most interested in their products and services. This free consultation service helps to significantly increase the likelyhood that contacts receive mailings that would be of genuine interest to them within a professional capacity.
How do you obtain your contact information?
We have a dedicated research department which, over a rigorous rolling programme, corresponds with every organisation on our database. By liaising directly with key members of each organisation contained within our directories and databases at regular intervals, we can ensure the highest level of accuracy.
Typically, we issue specific contacts at each organisation with relevant contact detail forms which they complete. If we do not receive a form, our research team promptly collect the necessary information over the telephone.
